DistanceLearning Resources
Inspire Academies schools have always provided many online learning and support materials for students to access 24/7, and this commitment to our families will continue during this uncertain time. This page will be a resource for students of all grade levels to receive support and continue learning at home. As we continue monitoring the situation, we will update this page with further guidance regarding both online and offline learning opportunities.
Parent Resources
Edgenuity has created the following resources which parents can download when the student begins working in their Edgenuity programs. These resources include instructions on using the parent portal and progress reports, a student user guide, as well as tips for troubleshooting access at home.
Additionally, Edgenuity provides live webinars throughout the year. Even if families cannot attend the live session, please register, and they'll send a recording shortly after the webinar is over.

Core Subject Resources (Skills-Based)
Inspire Academies teachers will point students to utilize specific core-subject resources below. Be sure to reference your child's teacher's weekly instruction. The district has vetted these resources and chosen them due to high alignment to state learning standards.
Grades K–5
Whether they are just learning to read or mastering close reading, Amplify Reading helps achieve off-the-charts reading growth in grades K–5. Leveraging compelling storytelling and the latest research, Amplify Reading helps students achieve true mastery of the concepts they need to become strong, life-long readers. The program meets all students where they are with powerful individualized instruction and practice, enabling student growth at all reading levels.
Education Galaxy provides online STAAR assessment and practice for students in Grades K-5 to help build mastery towards the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Their unique online program is easy to use, available in English and Spanish, and enjoyable for both teachers and students. Students work on their Study Plans practicing important concepts while teachers pull formative assessment reports to identify the strengths and weaknesses of their classroom and individual students.
Pathblazer is a personalized intervention program that provides supplemental online instruction with fun, motivating content that builds foundational skills in math and ELA. Using Renaissance Star student data, Pathblazer immediately identifies where students are struggling and provides the targeted instruction they need to close early learning gaps. The enjoyable instruction in math and reading helps educators engage students, keep their attention, and accelerate them to grade level. And the data that Pathblazer collects as students complete their work gives teachers the power to monitor learning and maximize results.
If we want to change what students are capable of reading, we must also change how students read and why students read. To do this requires a comprehensive approach to reading instruction. Reading Plus begins with an assessment that measures a student’s reading capacity as well as his or her reading efficiency and motivation for reading. This allows for personalized and dynamically adjusted instruction that encourages independence, broadens interests, and builds knowledge. Educators easily monitor progress while using the integrated messaging tool to stay in dialogue with students as they experience the success of meeting individualized goals.
